Frito-Lay has announced a recall of a small quantity of Tostitos tortilla chips due to the potential presence of undeclared milk.

The recall, announced Wednesday by the company, affects under 1,300 13-ounce bags of Tostitos Cantina Traditional Yellow Corn Tortilla Chips. These bags may contain nacho cheese-flavored chips, which contain milk as an ingredient.

According to Frito-Lay, no allergic reactions have been reported in connection with this recall. The company advises individuals with milk allergies or sensitivities to dispose of the recalled chips immediately, as consumption could lead to a serious allergic reaction.

Frito-Lay, a PepsiCo subsidiary based in Plano, Texas, stated that the potentially affected chips were sold at various retailers across the following 13 states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

These chips were available for purchase beginning on March 7th. All recalled bags share a “guaranteed fresh” date of May 20.
