The physician documented a scar on Trump’s right ear, which was obtained during the first .

Dr. Barbabella also mentioned that the President had a colonoscopy in the summer of 2024, which revealed a benign polyp and , indicating inflammation in the colon’s pockets. A follow-up colonoscopy has been advised in three years. Trump’s medical history also includes a previous COVID-19 infection.

Trump’s current medications include prescriptions for cholesterol, a preventative cardiac medicine, and a topical cream for “a skin condition” as needed. The physician also noted that Trump previously underwent bilateral cataract surgery.

Barbabella stated that Trump has “robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical function,” adding that his “active lifestyle,” including golf and the demands of his position, contributes to his well-being.

Barbabella concluded, “President Trump exhibits excellent cognitive and physical health and is fully fit to execute the duties of the Commander-in-Chief and Health of State.”
