Pelosi Hospitalized Following Injury in Luxembourg

Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is hospitalized following an injury sustained during a trip to Luxembourg, her spokesperson confirmed.

The 84-year-old Pelosi, in Europe for commemorations, is receiving excellent medical care, according to spokesman Ian Krager. He stated that she is unable to complete her planned European engagements.

The statement offered no specifics regarding the nature of her injury.

Krager added that Pelosi intends to return to the United States shortly.

Pelosi stepped down from her leadership role two years ago but continues to serve in Congress, having been re-elected to represent her San Francisco district last November.
