Oasis Adds More Shows to 2025 Tour Due to High Demand for Gallagher Brothers Reunion

LONDON — Oasis has added three more dates to its reunion tour of Britain and Ireland due to overwhelming demand for tickets.

The new shows, announced on Thursday, are scheduled for July 16, 2025, at Heaton Park in Manchester, England, the band’s hometown; July 30 at Wembley Stadium in London; and August 12 at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.

The Britpop-era rock band is now set to play 17 gigs across Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin, starting at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on July 4.

Oasis was a dominant force in the 1990s Britpop scene, known for hits such as “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger.” Their sound was characterized by catchy rock choruses and the fiery chemistry between guitarist-songwriter Noel Gallagher and his brother Liam, the band’s vocalist.

Oasis disbanded in 2009, with Noel Gallagher officially leaving the band after a backstage disagreement with his brother at a festival near Paris.

Although the Gallagher brothers haven’t performed together since the split, they both regularly include Oasis songs in their solo sets. They’ve also publicly exchanged criticisms about each other in the media.

In announcing the reunion on Tuesday, the band stated that fans would experience “the spark and intensity” that only emerges when they share the stage.

The tour will commence on July 4 and 5 at the Principality Stadium. Oasis will also perform in Manchester on July 11, 12, 16, 19, and 20; in London on July 25, 26, and 30, and August 2 and 3; in Edinburgh on August 8, 9, and 12; and in Croke Park, Dublin, on August 16 and 17.

Tickets will go on sale at 8 a.m. (0700GMT, 3 a.m. EDT) in Ireland on Saturday, and an hour later in the U.K. Fans could also participate in a presale ballot held on Friday. The number of tickets available through the ballot is unknown.

Irish promoter MCD states that tickets for the Dublin shows will start at 86.50 euros ($96) plus booking fee. Pricing for the U.K. gigs has yet to be announced.
