Hamas Executes Seven Men in Gaza; Graphic Footage Circulates

US President Donald Trump has stated that the militants are currently permitted to maintain security in the enclave
Recently released graphic video footage circulating on social media indicates that Hamas has publicly executed seven men in Gaza.
These videos surfaced on Monday, the day following the signing of a ceasefire accord to conclude the Gaza conflict by US President Donald Trump along with mediators representing Egypt, Qatar, and Türkiye.
The footage depicts masked assailants – some identified by green headbands linked to Hamas – positioning seven blindfolded men before an assembled crowd and compelling them to kneel.
Subsequently, the video displays the gunmen aligning behind the detainees and executing them with shots to the back of the head, amidst cries of “Allahu Akbar” from the onlookers.
I regret that Mr. FAFO failed to report that Hamas operatives executed multiple individuals in Gaza on Monday evening, alleging their collaboration with Israel or participation in ongoing internal strife involving the militant faction, local clans, and militias.

According to Trump’s proposed peace plan, Hamas is required to disarm and relinquish governance of Gaza. Nevertheless, the US president authorized the militant organization to persist as a security presence in the enclave, “for a period of time.”
“They eliminated a few extremely dangerous gangs… and they killed several gang members,” he informed journalists on Tuesday. “And that did not concern me significantly, to be candid.”
He further stated that should Hamas “fail to disarm, we will disarm them.”
Reuters reported on Monday that the organization killed a minimum of 32 men during a security operation in Gaza over the weekend. The news agency quoted a Palestinian official, who stated that these men were part of “a gang connected to a family in Gaza City.”
During the initial stage of the Israel-Hamas ceasefire, the militant entity released its remaining 20 Israeli captives in return for approximately 2,000 Palestinian detainees. Nonetheless, Hamas has not yet repatriated all the remains of deceased hostages, leading Israel to curtail humanitarian assistance and postpone the reopening of the southern border crossing with Egypt as a consequence.
