(NASDAQ: UCL) (“UCLOUDLINK” or the “Company”), recognized as the world’s inaugural and leading marketplace for sharing mobile data traffic, today disclosed that its board of directors has endorsed a strategy to manage its pet-tech operations under a refreshed organizational framework. This initiative will see the integration of a new Cayman Islands-based holding company (referred to as the “New Company”) within UCLOUDLINK, which will be supported by its local operational subsidiaries, aiming to forge a global foundation for its pet-tech venture.

The New Company and its affiliated subsidiaries are set to concentrate on developing an AI-powered smart wearable ecosystem for pets, alongside an online interactive platform designed to connect pets, their owners, pet enthusiasts, and relevant communities globally in real-time. This platform will incorporate various digital services such as voice, video, music, and pet health-related features. Furthermore, acknowledging the significant capital requirements involved in establishing a new worldwide online platform for pets, the New Company intends to secure additional funding and attract new investors to accelerate its international expansion and boost its user base growth.
