Advanced Helicopter Technology to be Displayed at North China’s Tianjin Expo
TIANJIN, China, Oct. 14, 2025 — The 7th China Helicopter Exposition is set to occur in the Tianjin Airport Economic Zone, located in north China, from October 16 to 19.
This year, the event has attracted nearly 400 businesses from more than 30 countries and regions, setting a new record for participant numbers in the expo’s history. Significantly, all six of the world’s foremost helicopter prime manufacturers are confirmed to attend.
Encompassing a total exhibition space of 160,000 square meters, this year’s exposition will host nearly 200 booths organized into ten main categories. These categories include full helicopters, electric Vertical Take-Off and Landing aircraft (eVTOLs), Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), engines, airborne equipment, ground support gear, and related services.
As the sole professional helicopter exhibition globally to incorporate flight demonstrations, this year’s expo is slated to feature six flight shows. Aircraft participating in these demonstrations include eight CAIC Z-10 attack helicopters, two Harbin Z-20 tactical utility helicopters, and the Z-20 assault variant, making its inaugural public flight appearance.
Within the static ground exhibition area, 52 aircraft will be on display, with 38 being helicopters. These encompass both the primary active models of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Aviation and internationally recognized star models: the Z-8L wide-body transport helicopter, the KVD002 reconnaissance-and-attack integrated UAV, and global models such as the Airbus H135 and Leonardo AW139 will be presented.
Furthermore, domestic civil aircraft, including AVIC’s AC312E and AC311A, are slated to exhibit diverse application scenarios, spanning from emergency rescue to medical transport.
