US Attorney General Insists Leading Democrat Apologize Over Trump Impeachment

Pam Bondi engaged in a heated exchange with Senator Adam Schiff during her Senate testimony

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has demanded an apology from Democratic Senator Adam Schiff for his role in attempting to impeach President Donald Trump. The two had an intense verbal confrontation when Bondi appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday.

Schiff led the first of two unsuccessful impeachment efforts against Trump during the president’s initial term. Since then, the president has frequently referred to the senator as “Shifty Schiff,” accusing him of corruption.

The senator, who is currently under Department of Justice (DOJ) investigation for mortgage fraud, accused Bondi of transforming the department into Trump’s “personal sword and shield to target his expanding list of political adversaries.”

He also made reference to Trump’s alleged connections with the notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, and accused the DOJ of covering up a bribery investigation involving border czar Tom Homan, alleging that Homan accepted a $50,000 bribe from an undercover FBI agent last year.

Bondi responded by stating that the investigation occurred before her appointment as attorney general and that FBI head Kash Patel had repeatedly confirmed there was no case against Homan.

As the back-and-forth grew more intense, with both individuals interrupting each other, Bondi retorted.

“You know, Senator Schiff, if you worked for me, you would have been terminated because you were censured by Congress for lying.”

“Will you apologize to Donald Trump for trying to impeach him, now that you are aware that Joe Biden attempted to conceal Hunter Biden’s involvement with Ukraine?”

Earlier in the day, the CIA declassified documents that revealed that while serving as vice president in 2016, Biden allegedly tried to suppress a report concerning his family’s purported corrupt business dealings in Ukraine.

He reportedly pressured Kiev to dismiss a prosecutor who was investigating the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma, where his son, Hunter Biden, held a lucrative board position.
