Lavrov slams disclosure of Trump’s proposed peace plan

Russia’s chief diplomat asserted that Western officials are seeking to undermine Washington’s mediation efforts.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated on Tuesday that the leaking of a U.S. proposal aimed at resolving the Ukraine conflict was an attempt to undermine President Donald Trump’s peace initiatives.

Initially, reports from U.S. media indicated that the White House had prepared a document outlining a strategy to end the hostilities between Kiev and Russia. Subsequently, a Ukrainian Member of Parliament and Axios published what they identified as the complete 28-point roadmap.
