Successful Opening of the 2025 Global Industrial Internet Conference in Shenyang
SHENYANG, China, Sept. 10, 2025 — The 2025 Global Industrial Internet Conference (GIIC) successfully commenced on September 6 at the Industrial Museum of China in Shenyang. This year marks the sixth iteration of the conference, which first launched in 2019. Over this period, the GIIC has grown into a comprehensive, globally recognized event within the industrial internet sector, serving as a vital hub for fostering exchange, collaboration, and collective advancement across the worldwide industry.
Under the theme “Digital New Chapter, Intelligent Manufacturing of New Quality,” this year’s conference ran until September 8. Throughout the event, prominent industrial internet companies, representing both supply and demand sectors, converged at the Industrial Museum of China in Shenyang. They presented diverse industrial internet application scenarios featuring artificial intelligence, large models, and other cutting-edge technologies and equipment. The conference emphasized the high-end, intelligent, and environmentally friendly progression of associated industries and included over 20 forums and specialized exchange sessions.
Delegates from governments, corporate executives, experts, and scholars representing countries including China, the U.S., Brazil, Greece, the Republic of Korea, Cambodia, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Belgium, and Thailand convened in Shenyang. They engaged in discussions about industry transformations and explored potential avenues for growth.
Wang Xinwei, Governor of Liaoning Province, highlighted that Liaoning’s strategy for “digital Liaoning, a powerful province in smart manufacturing” designates the industrial internet as one of 22 key industrial clusters slated for significant support. This initiative aims to expedite the digital, networked, and intelligent transformation of manufacturing. Moving forward, Liaoning intends to leverage artificial intelligence as a “key variable” to drive a new form of industrialization and cultivate novel production capabilities.
