HONG KONG, Oct. 08, 2025 — The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025, sponsored by Perrier, were revealed at a glamorous awards ceremony in Hong Kong tonight, marking the first time the city has hosted the globally recognized ranking. The 17th annual awards ceremony, held on October 8, 2025, took place at the iconic Kai Tak Cruise Terminal overlooking Victoria Harbour. Over 2,000 of the world’s leading bartenders, hospitality professionals, and drinks industry leaders attended the event, celebrating cocktail excellence across the city. With 50 Best events returning to Hong Kong for the third year in a row, October is proving to be the ideal time to celebrate the city’s thriving culinary and cocktail scene.
Bar Leone, from Hong Kong, claimed the title of The World’s Best Bar 2025, sponsored by Perrier. The win highlighted a week-long program in Hong Kong that brought together the international bar community for a series of public and industry-only events, including collaborative 50 Best Signature Sessions at bars throughout the city.
Hong Kong’s bars once again performed strongly on the global list, which is compiled from votes cast by a gender-balanced panel of industry experts from around the world. Bar Leone topped the list at No.1, while COA was also recognized at No. 38, showcasing the vibrant bar scenes and innovative cocktail culture of Hong Kong.
