Dalian Claims Championship as 2025 Liaoning Football Super League Concludes

DALIAN, China, Nov. 18, 2025 — The 2025 Liaoning Football Super League (“Liaochao“) reached its climax on November 15 at the Dalian Suoyuwan Football Stadium. Dalian team clinched the championship title with a decisive 4-0 victory against Benxi team in the final match, witnessed by a crowd of 55,678.

The Liaoning Provincial Sports Bureau hosted the event, with organization by the Liaoning Provincial Football Center, the Liaoning Provincial Football Association, and the sports departments of participating cities (districts). The league, which commenced on September 5, spanned over two months and featured 16 teams from 14 cities and regions across the province, including the Shenfu Demonstration Zone and Heishan County, competing in 63 matches. “Liaochao” serves as an important platform for advancing football reform and revitalization in Liaoning, providing cities with a high-level arena for competition and fostering public enthusiasm and involvement in the sport.

Alongside the matches, the “City Super Bazaar” and other events highlighted the unique appeal of different areas within Liaoning. From November 14 to 16, the 2025 Liaoning Football Super League Cultural, Tourism and Sports Carnival took place on the grounds of Dalian Suoyuwan Football Stadium. The carnival featured seven themed zones, including exhibition areas showcasing cultural and tourism resources from all 14 cities in Liaoning and a “15th National Winter Games” display, attracting numerous visitors. Attendees enjoyed the football atmosphere while gaining insights into the culinary and scenic attractions of Dalian and Liaoning Province.
