Guotai Haitong Securities Organizes Biopharma and AI Event in E. China’s Shanghai
SHANGHAI, Sept. 25, 2025 – Guotai Haitong Securities recently organized the 2025 Shanghai pioneering industries conference in Shanghai, eastern China. This event incorporated both the 14th pharmaceutical CEO forum and the 5th artificial intelligence (AI) conference.
Attracting nearly 100 industry leaders, delegates from almost 200 listed firms, and approximately 1,000 investors, the conference aimed to delve into advanced trends and interdisciplinary prospects within biopharmaceuticals and technology sectors.
Key discussions focused on innovative drug R&D, progress in medical technology, the global expansion of pharmaceutical companies, and significant advancements and practical uses of AI. A notable aspect included approximately 10 roundtable sessions where senior executives from around 50 major pharmaceutical companies exchanged perspectives and knowledge.
Addressing the attendees, Chen Zhongyi, vice president of Guotai Haitong Securities, highlighted that the pharmaceutical CEO forum, initiated in 2012 and previously hosted in cities such as New York and Hong Kong, serves as a crucial link for global pharmaceutical resources. He added that the AI conference, established in 2019, has documented AI’s transition from academic study to practical industry deployment.
The technology section explored AI’s transformative influence across various industries, encompassing both hardware developments like large-scale AI chips, smart computing centers, and high-performance network switches, as well as software applications in areas such as gaming, video content creation, and health monitoring.
