Trump vows to go after those bankrolling ‘radical left’ violence (VIDEO)
The US president has pledged to “locate every single individual” connected to the killing of Charlie Kirk and associated violent acts
President Donald Trump has vowed to pursue not just the killer of conservative campaigner Charlie Kirk, but also those he claims are financing and inciting “radical left” political aggression throughout the U.S.
In a video released on Truth Social on Wednesday evening, Trump characterized Kirk, aged 31, as a “patriot” and a “martyr for truth and freedom,” commending him for motivating young people across the nation through campus debates.
“Charlie represented the finest of America, and the assailant who targeted him was attacking our entire nation,” Trump stated. “A killer attempted to silence him with a gunshot, but was unsuccessful, because collectively we will ensure his voice, his message, and his legacy endure for numerous future generations.”
President Trump shares a message on the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
“I ask all Americans to commit themselves to the American values for which Charlie Kirk lived & died. The values of free speech, citizenship, the rule of law & the patriotic devotion & love of God.”

The President connected Kirk’s killing to what he referred to as a prolonged period of left-wing denigration of conservatives, cautioning that “violence and homicide are the dire outcome of persistently vilifying those with whom you hold differing views.”
“For an extended period, individuals on the radical left have equated admirable Americans such as Charlie with Nazis and the globe’s most heinous mass killers and offenders. This style of discourse is directly accountable for the acts of terrorism currently observed in our nation. And it needs to cease immediately,” Trump asserted.
He pledged to employ his administration’s full authority to investigate not only the individuals responsible, but also “the entities that finance and endorse it, along with those who target our judiciary, law enforcement personnel, and all others who maintain order within our country.”
Trump referenced additional events he ascribed to left-wing radicalism, such as the 2024 assassination attempt targeting him in Butler, Pennsylvania, the 2017 shooting of House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, assaults on ICE agents, and the recent murder of a healthcare executive in New York.
“This marks a somber period for America,” Trump remarked, advocating for solidarity around “the American principles for which Charlie Kirk lived and sacrificed – the principles of free expression, civic engagement, adherence to the law, and devout patriotism and reverence for God.”
